M94 in Canes Venatici

  • Exposure time : 300 min L (30 min 1x1) + 20 min (5min 1x1) + RGB (195:99:198 min 2x2)
  • Date and Time : 18. and 21 April 2007
  • Instrument : 50cm @ f/8.4 (LRGB)
  • Focal length : 4195 mm
  • FWHM : about 2.1 arcsec L (30min subs) and 2.3 arcsec (5 min subs)
  • Filters : SBIG LRGB filter
  • Image processing : Imageplus (DDP), Registar (registering) and Photoshop (Levels, Curves)
  • Problems/comments : Remotely imaged at New Mexico, USA in collaboration with Ken Levin. For the nucleus data from an image of Karel Teuwen taken with a C14 were used, too. Karel did the final image processing.
