M18.
This image was made near Montlaux, Southern France in the evening of 11 august 2007. I used an Intes Alter M706 on a Takahashi EM-200. Camera was a ST-10XME, -20°C, 3 x 5 minute exposures. As M18 was quite low over the horizon, seeing influenced the result. The position of open cluster M18 in this Milky Way region is marked by two tickmarks in the border of the image.
