This test-image was made on 27 August 2000 with a new "travel telescope" : a Takahashi CN212, working in Newton configuration at f/3.9. The image is not optimally sharp and there is a guiding error; I used a make-shift adapter between the corrector and CCD making that the optimal distance between corrector-CCD detector was not correct. Also see the M71 page for another image made that evening.
Exposure with ST-8 was 10 m, the image was dark frame subtracted, flat fielded and then a high pass filter was used.
