I am a Belgian Amateur Astronomer, living in the Flemish part of Belgium. My home is in Koksijde (see red dot on the map below).

After my studies in 1973, I became a Belgian Air Force pilot and flew on Marchetti, Fouga Magister, T-33, Mirage V, Sikorsky H34 and Sea King Mk48. I retired in 1997 and am now working as a helicopter pilot with Noordzee Helikopters Vlaanderen.

I am married to Marleen, we have two daughters: Kathleen and Annelies. Another member of the family is our Labrador dog Nala.
