IC5067

By the end of the night of 5-6/04/2000 in Grand Champ, with twilight approaching, I made this image more as an experiment than anything else. I initially called the image N7000X, because I pointed the telescope "in the vicinity" of NGC7000 as I had not prepared a finder chart for this "unscheduled" object. During processing, I identified the image as being the northern part of the Pelican Nebula IC5067/70, the brightest star is 57 Cygni. The image was exposed for 15 selfguided minutes with my Takahashi E-160 on a G11 mount and with the SBIG ST-7 CCD camera.
