Andromeda nebula and companion with 30 cm newton and Canon 40D; 8 x 10 min. This nebula sent this light out 2.5 million years ago, at the time the first primitive humans walked on earth. And when they look at us at this moment they see these primitives! Also it's one of the two objects beyond our milky way that can be seen with the naked eye. Lastly it will collide with our galaxy within a few billions years. So be warned! |
