Photometry obtained with FOCAS-II software:

    G. J. Leonard reports the discovery of a comet in four 30-second survey images taken on 2022 Nov. 26 UT by M. Lemmon Survey (G96), noting a very condensed 6" coma and a broad 10" tail at position angle 240-260 deg.

Prediscovery positions were reported from early Nov. 2022. Additional reports of cometary features are as follows:
