The new RegiStax Graphical User Interface is divided into several sections :
Topbar, ControlBar, Sidebar and Image area.

The Topbar contains a 2 groups of buttons and the cancel-button. These functions can be used at all times when working with RegiStax.

The Controlbar is directly related to the RegiStax tabs. When the program changes to another tab(stage) the controlbar will contain different controls. The tabs will show three colours: blue= active, green= available, red = not available (yet). During processing different tabs will become available .

The Sidebars are tabs related to the main RegiStax tabs. Every main tabpage can have one or two sidebars. When a side-bar tab is activated a toolwindow will be shown. When two sidebars are available on a page the top sidebar has separate functions (one window visible at a time) and the lower sidebar function can be displayed at the same time.

Toolwindows are special windows that cannot leave the tabpage they are associated with. The new toolwindows can be shrunk by pressing the arrow on the left-side of the caption. After shrinking they can be opened again by again pressing the arrow.
