I deceided to make a 30cm dobsonian when I was 18y old. I bought the optics by Orion Optics UK and made a telescope using the book "the dobsonian telescope from kriege & berry".
An article about the construction of this scope was published in the belgian magazine "distant targets" in 2004.

This is the mirrorcell. Remarks it's 9points support and open design and fan to let the mirror cool down fast.

The pole clambs were somewhat though. I deceided not to use the pole clambs kriege suggests in his book but I made a U-profile and clambs to attach the poles to the mirrorbox. This works great!
