Mare Imbrium.

28 July 2002

I made a series of images along the terminator with my Takahashi FS-102 fluorite refractor (FL 820 mm), again with the ToUcam. The images below each are a mozaik of two images. North is up to match the maps in Rükl's Moonatlas

This image (452 Kb) shows a region between about 6° and 40° South, 22° and 42° West. Gassendi is the prominent crater on the terminator. South of Gassendi is Mare Humorum, North is Oceanus Procellarum. You can find this area in Rükl's Moonatlas on charts 41, 42, 52 and 53.
