Mare Imbrium.

28 July 2002

I made a series of images along the terminator with my Takahashi FS-102 fluorite refractor (FL 820 mm), again with the ToUcam webcam. The images below each are a mozaik of two images. North is up to match the maps in Rükl's Moonatlas

This image (396 Kb) shows an area between about 30° and 75° North, 5° and 40° West. North and West of Plato is Mare Frigoris. South of Plato and Sinus Iridum is Mare Imbrium. You can look up the different features in Antonin Rükl's Moonatlas, charts 2, 3, 10 and 11.
