MARS on 19 June 2001.

I was not planning to image Mars this year as the planet sits low on the horizon as seen from my observing place. But then a calm night was forecast, so I gave it a try. You can see the result below. I made three sessions of 99 images each using VEGA. About 30 images from each series were used to make an averaged picture using AVI2BMP. Finally Photoshop was used for some unsharp masking and composition. One can see the effects of refraction, especially on the middle image.
