6P/D’ARREST

The comet was discovered in Pisces by Heinrich Ludwig d'Arrest (Leipzig, Germany) on 1851 June 28 (Delta=0.71AU, r=1.18AU, Elong.=84°). Cometname: 6P/1851 M1.   Comet was very low at the horizon.  He described it as very faint and quickly estimate the position. The comet was not found the next morning because of hazy skies, but it was located on  june 30.02 and again described as very faint.
