CCD images taken by G. J. Leonard with the Mount Lemmon 1.5-m reflector on July 3.4 UT (astrometry tabulated below) showed a comet with a coma 7"-10" across along with a broad, diffuse tail about 15" long in p.a. 260 degrees in four co-added 30-s exposures (with seeing about 2".1)….

Observation made by myself , made with a remote telescope from SSRO, and tabulated below give also evidence of cometary appearance of this HILDA object.

Later on 10 oct.2017 was this object assigned as Comet 362P/(457175) - 2008 GO98 via CBET 4442: 20171009 : NEW COMET NAMES AND NEW NUMBERINGs OF SHORT-PERIOD COMETS
