IAUC 9080: COMET C/2009 T1 (MCNAUGHT)

Discovery:

Rob McNaught discovered an 18th magnitude comet on CCD-images taken during the Siding Spring Survey with the 0.5-m Uppsala Schmidt on 2009 October 9.75. The comet was at perihelion at 6.2 AU in October 2009.

The MPEC 2009-Y10 mention : The "original" and "future" barycentric values of 1/a are +0.000878 and +0.000942 (+/- 0.000038) AU^-1, respectively.  This suggest (moderate "original" value) that this is not the first apparition and  that this comet may have made a previous visit to the inner solar system
