Discovery: CBET 4109

A 20th magnitude asteroid was discovered in PanSTARRS 1 images taken with the 1.8m Ritchey-Chretien on 2015 April 8.58. It was subsequently found to show cometary activity by astrometrists including Roberto Haver, L Buzzi and H Sato. [ MPEC 2015-L07, 2015 June 4] The comet is at perihelion at 2.0 au in 2015 August and has a period of around 65 years.
