Comet C/2018 K1 was discovered  by Henry Weiland in CCD-images with the ATLAS search with a 0.5-m f/2 telescope on 25 may 2018.  After the object was posted on the Minor Planet Center's PCCP webpage, on 26 may 2018, I decided to take a remote telescope from Siding Spring to observe this object to improve the ephemerides and do my own confirmation of this object which is assigned as comet C/2018 K1 on 31 may 208 by CBET 4518: 20180531 : COMET C/2018 K1 (WEILAND) . I could easily see this moving object  as diffuse condensation with a circular coma of about 56” in diameter and magnitude of 17.3 as measured within a circular aperture of radius 4".9 and reported this to MPC.  My observation was included in the CBET 4518 issued on 31 may
