Comet C/2019 O3 (PALOMAR) was discovered as an apparently asteroidal object in images taken Q.-Z. Ye, with the  1.2-m f/2.4 Oschin Schmidt telescope at Palomar on 2019 July 26 UT, and given the designation A/2019 O3 when it was announced on MPEC 2019-P55, after these publication, CCD astrometrist found cometary nature of this object.  CCD-astrometrists who found cometary features are: R. Haver, Rome, Italy - L. Buzzi, Varese, Italy - D. D. Balam (Dominion Astrophysical Observatory) and D. W. E. Green
