COMET C/2020 H2 (PRUYNE)

Theodore A. Pruyne, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, University of Arizona, reports the discovery of a comet on four 30-s CCD exposures taken with the Catalina Sky Survey's 0.68-m Schmidt telescope on april 26.47 2020; the comet appeared "very asymmetric" with a fan-shaped coma of size about 15" and a tail about 10" long toward p.a. about 280 degrees.

After the comet was posted on the Minor Planet Center's PCCP webpage, other CCD astrometrists have commented on the cometary appearance.
