Comet C/2021 Y1 (ATLAS) (astro.vanbuitenen.nl)

Discovery:  [ CBET 5089 ]

    H. Sato reports cometary activity of an asteroidal NEOCP candidate (initially reported by ATLAS-MLO on Dec. 26 UT) in ten stacked 60-second images taken on Dec. 29 by iTelescope Observatory, Mayhill (H06), noting a condensed 10" coma. Prediscovery positions were recovered from Nov. 2021. Additional reports of cometary features are as follows:
