Comet P/2010 J3 (McMillan) - (= 2010 CG6 (Mcmillan))

IAUC 9146: COMET P/2010 J3 (MCMILLAN)

Discovery:

Discovered in the course of the Spacewatch survey by Bob McMillan with the 0.9-m f/3 reflector at Kitt Peak on 2010 May 12.21 and posted on the NEOCP was quickly noted as cometary by John Cave and Richard Miles on images taken with the Faulkes telescope. It was confirmed the next day in IAUC 9146. The comet reaches perihelion at 2.5 AU in August.
